Hacking Challenges
Welcome to SecurityOverride Hacking Challenges.
These hacking challenges are designed to put your hacking skills to the test. For each challenge completed you will receive points based on the level of the challenge. The Scoreboard will keep track of your points so you know where you rank among other SecurityOverride members. Your profile will also be updated as challenges are completed to include your total points and a list of the challenges you have successfully completed.
If you have a challenge idea please feel free to post it in the challenges section on the forums.

Challenge 1 100 Points |
 Background: One of our friends has signed up to take a survey on this website. Ever since he joined he has received nothing but spam emails from them.
Objective: Login to their site as an administrator and remove all the email addresses in there spam list.

Challenge 2 150 Points |
 Background: You have been hired by a government agency to hack into a private security company's computer system. The company has stumbled across a top secret Emergency Action Message (EAM) luckily for us the msg is encrypted but they are working hard to decrypt the code.
Objective: Gain level 1 access to their computer system and delete the EAM before it can be decrypted.

Challenge 3 200 Points |
 Background: Your friend John is getting ripped off by the "Library Of Knowledge," because they claim he has not returned a book to them. He has, indeed, returned it, and the return was successful almost a month ago, and yet this library has credited his account for $10 to replace it! John's credentials are John:guitar
Objective: Part 1: Manipulate the website to 'check the book back in' to the library. Part 2: Make John's account balance positive again.

Challenge 4 250 Points |
 Background: Your friend Logan bought file uploading space from Pro File Host, but they banned his account. His login credentials are Logan:whitehat although they might not be of too much use to you...
Objective: Gain access to the administrative account and unban Logan's account.

Challenge 5 300 Points |
 Background: Your friend Ian has tried to bail his friend James out of trouble, but is coming to you now for help. James, hacked a site, but the admin was able to track him down and he posted a lot of personal information about James on the site. Ian's credentials are ian:vacuum
Objective: Gain access to the administrative account and delete the blog post containing James' personal information.

Challenge 6 350 Points |
 Background: You have run into a job offer. NikezAndMacs has offered you a challenge in which you will receive 350 points in return for completing it.
Objective: Profile the name provided (found in the message from nikezAndMacs), and threaten the user with the information you gain.

Challenge 7 400 Points |
 Background: Your friend had his site hosted on PregTech hosting. He switched hosts from the lousy customer support though, and he wants some justice.
Objective: Find an exploit in the PregTech website that your friend can use for revenge. Output the contents of the phpinfo() command.
